Monday, Monday

The sun is shining, a cold front is on its way and life is good! This will be a busy week. Tonight is Stamp Camp. Once a month ladies from my church get together to make cards. One lady is a Stampin' Up representative and she hosts the camp. Tonight's cards should be Halloween themed and those are always fun. I'm just learning but I can follow the samples and I'm so proud of my finished cards! They are simple but cute. I've cherished all the cards I've received through this last difficult year and I know how much it means to receive a card that says "I'm thinking of you"...and I appreciate the time and care represented by handmade cards.

My sewing room is stacked with projects to work on and many of them are for our expected grandbaby. This will be our first grandchild and we're so excited that it's a baby girl!!! This week I'm working on a pink minkie blanket, receiving blankets and maybe some burp cloths.

I'm off to the sewing room for a day of happy stitching!
